JuliAnn Marzuola, M.Ed., LMHC, LDN
Blending professional skills as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN), Juli provides a unique treatment perspective addressing both the psychological as well as nutritional approach to disordered eating behaviors. In a career that spans over 30 years, she provides individualized care addressing issues of weight, food, body image and health.
Along with her skill set with eating disorders, Juli brings a passion for work with parent/child relationships especially regarding the tumultuous phase of adolescence; family dynamics; issues surrounding anxiety, depression and personal boundaries; health, wellness & chronic disease issues; and the unique dynamics of couples’ relationships.
Juli’s diverse educational background includes: B.S. Clinical Dietetics from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and M.Ed. Community Counseling from the University of Central Oklahoma. After building a practice in nutrition therapy, she received her master’s degree in counseling and psychology and she merged both areas of training to develop a successful private practice in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 2015, Juli relocated to the St. Petersburg area to continue her professional career.
Juli is a member of American Mental Health Counselors Association, Florida Mental Health Counselors Association, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Florida Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the Academy for Eating Disorders. She is fully licensed as a Dietitian/Nutritionist and Mental Health Counselor by the State of Florida.
